28th of may 2013 -I don’t know if it is because of the cultural difference( I am born and raised in Germany), or because paid internships in de USA are very rare in general, but the reason I chose for Stage-USA was that they offer paid internships. During my search I discovered that it was almost impossible to find a paid internship abroad. 

I had difficulties with finding a paid internship, but Stage-USA had several possibilities! 

 When I a ran into Stage-USA I was first a bit disappointed because the price for an internship was higher as what other companies offer, but then I started counting logically: The price was €300 more, which seemed a lot to me. But: They could offer me an internship which paid me $600,- a month. 600 times 6 months is 3600 US Dollar! Because I chose for Stage-USA, I earned more than 3000 Dollar extra during my internship!  If you are searching for an internship but you are afraid to run into financial problems I would advise you to choose for Stage-USA. Not only because my internship was paid, but also because I am very happy about the fact that the communication with them was so personal and the internship was exactly what I was searching for!
