Welcome, Lo-An!
Lo-An recently joined our a team here in Amsterdam as an intern and will be spending the next 3 months with us. We are excited to have her and decided to ask her a few questions:
So tell us, WHO is Lo-An?
I am a 19 year-old student pursuing a Bachelor in International Business in France (Grenoble). I was born in Vietnam and was adopted when I was just 2 months old. My mother is American and my father is French. I have always loved to travel and discover new places, hanging out with friends, partying and meeting new people. I consider myself an outgoing person who looks for success in everything I do. I have come to Amsterdam for my second year internship and to explore a place I have never seen before.
What have you seen of the world so far and which country is on top of your bucket list?
I have travelled a lot with my parents: I have been to Canada, USA (to see family and friends), Mexico and most of Europe – England, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Lithuania and Switzerland. I have also visited parts of Asia: Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. I find it really interesting and rewarding to discover new cultures and landscapes. I would love to visit Asia more, especially Vietnam. Otherwise, my top destination is New Zealand.
What has been your most remarkable experience in the USA?
I have never stayed more than 3 weeks at a time in the USA, and most of the time it was just to see family and friends. I have a lot of great memories and stories from there. What I love is the Natural parks and the beaches! I liked the fact that you can find open minded people who are genuine and kind.
